Need to remember to tell someone "happy birthday" this week? Or remember that you need to ask your friend about something, but its too late to text right now?

SMSClerk lets you pre-write texts to send later. When the scheduled time arrives, youll get a notification. Press the notification, and everything will be filled out for you, you just need to hit send!

SMSClerk also allows daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly recurring messages.

Requires iOS 9. iOS requires that all outbound text messages are actively sent by the user, so you will still need to hit the "Send" button to send the message.

Me Gusta
I think the interface is simple and clean. I love that it actually send the messages in the native SMS app and all you have to do is hit send. About as easy as it gets with the current iOS restrictions. Nicely done.
Finally the SMS assistant I have been waiting for!!!
Great job! Ive tried every app available to remind me daily to text my daughter away at college. Thank you so much!
Ok but
Good app but would be VERY helpful if there were instructions on the app itself. I assumed the text would go automatically at the time I had set for it. It wasnt until 2 hours later I discovered it didnt. I finally found "instructions" in the app description in the App Store that said I would get a notification at the set time to send it. Wont use the app again since it doesnt meet my needs. Not worth $0.99 I paid for it.
Not worth it
I was led to believe this app automatically sent scheduled texts. It does not do this. It simply reminds you to send a text. I could have set my own reminder in my phone. Not worth it.
Keep youre expectations low
The other reviewer is dumb. Apple doesn’t allow for automatic sending, the best any app can do is remind you. Good: it works-ish Bad: If you accidentally set a past date, it wont error out and ask for an acceptable date, it just disappears. Wheres the QA? Bad: Sometimes I lose whole messages and I don’t know why. I have to type in everything again. Bad: It’s hard to schedule anything really far out, like you’re friend’s birthday or New Years Day messages. You have to scroll over all the days. It’s April I want to schedule a reminder, I have to scroll 266 days down! And do it all over again if I want to send another message on New Years! I should be able to skip to December. Bad: You can’t paste a phone number into the send field, you have to have you’re friends number in your contact list. That group of friends you always message, yea you can’t copy paste that. You have to select each one individually. That list of contacts you have at work, no, you cant type in their number you have to add that loser into your contact list.
